The HGS Warehouse is a software tool that provides a spreadsheet
like display of technical and fundamental information for
a selected list of companies.
This sample window shows the Warehouse displaying
the default of All Securities. Notice the title bar shows
the number of securities in the list. In this case there are
10,388 stock securities in the Quotes Plus database including
indexes. Mutual funds and commodities are not contained in
the Warehouse database.
The prospecting tool lets the user build named filters that
contain user defined criteria to screen the stocks in the
database. Only those securities that meet the criteria described
by each rule will be displayed in the warehouse spreadsheet
(like shown above).
Once the filtered list is
created the Warehouse shows the stocks with the
green - yellow - red color highlighting to quickly show
which of the many data values are showing strength, problems,
or just signaling a need for caution.
NO OTHER PRODUCT HAS THIS!
These securities can then be saved as a QP list and
used with the QP scanning and charting
tools for further analysis. The reverse is also
true, where lists of securities created by QP scanning
can also be placed in the warehouse Choose List Folder
and then selected a the list to be further filtered
with the prospecting tool. This powerful two-way process
provides for seamless operation between scans and the
warehouse filters.
